We help reshape complex stress, overwhelm and anxiety into possibility.
How? We apply the neurobiology of creativity to filling in the gaps between talk-based processing and functional therapy.
✓ Neurodivergence-informed ✓ Trauma-informed ✓ NDIS Therapeutic Support
Do you relate to any of this? →
→ You are processing an experience that you feel isn’t really understood by the people around you (maybe that experience is your whole life)
→ You are sometimes seen as ‘doing well’ or performing life at a high standard, but it doesn’t feel that way to you
→ You wonder if everyone experiences this level of complexity and intensity
→ You have persistent stress responses that mess with your functioning in certain situations, whether or not they meet the diagnostic threshold for a clinical disorder
→ You want to get something off your chest in a contained and professional interpersonal structure
→ You want a fresh outlook on something: a problem, a recurring question, an outmoded belief
A range structures for accessing our service are possible.
The therapeutic approach is rooted in creative arts therapy as an evidence-based frame aligned with allied health.

❋
Brief support
1-3 sessions to work through something specific. These sessions can be self-booked. Suitable for:
Wellbeing maintenance
Life transitions
Light self-inquiry
Testing the waters for a deeper cycle
❋
Deeper cycle
Cycles of 4-10 sessions to delve further into an area of experience, or reinforce routines for moving toward desired outcomes.
Suitable for situations where the entry point is not clear - you just know that something is in need of development. Or, you know what the matter is, and that it will take time to explore.
❋
Structured plans
Goal-oriented therapeutic plans incorporating formal assessment, consultation and reporting. This is often as part of a care team.
Suitable for goal-based functional development. This can be in line with NDIS plans under Capacity Building: Therapeutic Supports.

The body as a map
Concepts of how the body works to form our mental, emotional and relational life provide a framework for gaining different perspectives on experience. This lens can incorporate things like plasticity, the role of the sensory systems in modulating experience, and memory.
Creativity as a tool
Creativity is a highly effective multi-tool for exploring what’s going on, taking things apart, and putting them back together, as well as test driving experiences of not-knowing, surprise, and novelty that can pave the way for neuroplastic change.
Possibility as a pathway
At the human level, possibility can be thought of as any degree of ability to effect change (however small) coupled with an open-ended outlook toward the greater world. In many cases, this can be a bridge between effective use of creativity and increased capacity.
Capacity as an outcome
Think of ‘capacity’ as available volume, space or bandwidth. Increased capacity means that overloading is less likely to happen. A common outcome of therapy is noticing and cultivating our capacity for ‘doing life’ in ways that are meaningful, rewarding and in keeping with our values.
